AMPIRE KVX-EXPERT rear view camera in 3rd brake light including cable for Peugeot Expert, Opel Vivaro, Citroen Jumpy, Toyota ProAce from 2016
Our brake light cameras are vehicle-specific, tailor-made solutions for integrating a rearview camera. Thanks to their elegant integration via the brake light, the camera is very unobtrusive on the vehicle. Thanks to their precise fit, they are installed securely and firmly.
By positioning the camera in place of the brake light, it's positioned high and angled downwards. This allows you to see the entire relevant rear area of the vehicle when parking, turning, or maneuvering.
With its IP69 protection rating, the camera is prepared for all environmental influences, meaning it's both dust- and water-resistant. Even temperatures from -20 to +70°C won't harm the camera.
The scope of delivery includes a 10 m connection cable, which allows you to easily master even long installation distances.
Look & Feel like original factory
Simply replacing the factory brake light with ours with integrated rearview camera barely changes the original appearance. The high-quality workmanship and materials ensure durability and consistently reliable operation. Installation is quick and easy, with no drilling required.
Specially developed for vans
The curvature of the roof edge above the rear doors complicates installation and severely limits the rearward visibility. Integration into the brake light lens and the resulting distance provide a significantly better view of elements behind the vehicle.
Optimal field of view thanks to large detection angle
The integrated camera module is already installed at an optimal angle to provide a clear view of the area behind the vehicle. A wide-angle view of 185° is ideal for displaying the close-up area, allowing most of the area behind the vehicle to be captured.
Image display of the rear view camera
The video signal is transmitted via the supplied video connection cable and is then automatically displayed in the navigation system on a monitor, an aftermarket navigation system (e.g. from Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.) or via a rear view camera interface (optional) directly on the factory navigation system when reverse gear is engaged.
Sharp image through 480 TV lines
The number of TV lines determines the image sharpness and thus the resolution. The higher the number, the clearer and more detailed the camera image is displayed on the monitor.
Protection against moisture and dirt
With an IP69 protection rating, the camera is optimally protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dust. The first number indicates protection against foreign objects/contact, while the second refers to water resistance.
Attention, please note:
Playback on the factory navigation system via rear view camera interface (optional) If you would like to conveniently display the image from the rear view camera on your existing monitor of your factory navigation system, you will also need a rear view camera interface.
Rear view Depending on the roof structure and the trailer hitch installed on the vehicle, the trailer hitch may not be visible on the monitor.
Avoid image interference with our signal filter(optional) Newer vehicles use a clocked (pulsating) voltage to power the vehicle's exterior lighting (tail light, brake light, etc.), which is unsuitable for image sensors/video electronics and results in malfunctions or image disturbances. Therefore, please do not connect the connection cable for activating the rear view camera directly to the reversing light, but use our signal filter. You can find a suitable signal filter under Accessories.
