Simply replacing the factory brake light with ours with integrated rearview camera barely changes the original appearance. The high-quality workmanship and materials ensure durability and consistently reliable operation. Installation is quick and easy, with no drilling required.
The curvature of the roof edge above the rear doors complicates installation and severely limits the rearward visibility. Integration into the brake light lens and the resulting distance provide a significantly better view of elements behind the vehicle.
The integrated camera module's angle can be adjusted vertically, allowing you to perfectly adapt to the vehicle's specific conditions and select the optimal settings. A horizontal wide-angle view of 146° and a vertical viewing angle of 110° are ideal for displaying close-up images, allowing most of the area behind the vehicle to be captured.
The video signal is transmitted via the supplied video connection cable and is then automatically displayed in the navigation system on a monitor, an aftermarket navigation system (e.g. from Pioneer, Sony, Alpine, Kenwood, etc.) or via a rear view camera interface (optional) directly on the factory navigation system when reverse gear is engaged.
The number of TV lines determines the image sharpness and thus the resolution. The higher the number, the clearer and more detailed the camera image is displayed on the monitor.
With an IP68 protection rating, the camera is optimally protected against environmental influences such as moisture and dust. The first number indicates protection against foreign objects/contact, while the second refers to water resistance.
